Patricia F. Lurye
Patricia Lurye has been a licensed pharmacist for 40 years and she hold a Masters Degree in Public Health and Administration.. She has practiced in a community pharmacy in Warwick for the past 24 years and now has changed careers to become a jeweler. Patricia has worked tirelessly to preserve the unique nature of our village. She is a founding member of the Warwick Conservancy and played an integral role in preserving Railroad Green in the village and the Hallowed Ground on Forester Avenue. Patricia has a successful track record in fund-raising activities, including the organization of an international scientific meeting on bone disease, which was attended by researchers from 22 countries. Patricia is a student of the martial arts and holds a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. She has designed and taught self-defense classes for women in the Warwick community. She is a talented vocalist and a member of St. Stephen's choir. She is frequently called upon to deliver the National Anthem at local fund-raising events. Patricia is a member and officer of the Warwick Valley Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Bone Secours Warwick Health Foundation. She lives in Warwick, New York with her son, Harrison, and husband, David, and a dog and two cats.
